The second progress meeting has been held at METAS (Switzerland). Here the general progress has been discussed regarding the primary standards and (metrological) assessment of (commercial) flow meters and drug delivery devices. Furthermore, a workshop focussing at flow meters for micro flow rates has been held. Here the latest developments in micro flow meter technology have been discussed as well as the potential relevance of the assessment of flow meters. MeDD has been presented at the 1^st International conference on MicroFluidic Handling Systems (10 to 12 October 2012, Enschede, The Netherlands). Click here for the poster presentation and here for the accompanying article.

The project has been officially started June 1, 2012, which followed quickly with the kick-off meeting June 13-15. During the kick-off meeting the general outlines of the project have been discussed. Furthermore, a detailed planning has been made until the first progress meeting (IPQ, November 29-30). To get everyone acquainted with nano- and micro-fluidics, also a course has been given by Claus Melvad from DTI.
